The festival features many fabulous bands – over 100 in total on four different stages. This includes the fabulous Wonderstuff doing an acoustic set, having grown up in Stourbridge, you will understand that they will be forever a legendary band in my eyes! Other acts to whet your festival fancy are the legendary Boney M (I’m already adding Daddy Cool to my Napster Summer Festival list) and the undeniably fabulous Undertones – everyone knows their seminal anthem ‘Teenage Kicks’, even my millennial kids. The closing act for the festival are the incredible Lady Blacksmith Mambazo. Other beauties in the line up are The Proclaimers and Brummie wonders, UB40.
The festival prides itself on being utterly family friendly. CBeebies royalty, Justin Fletcher will be there to entertain the kids, along with (my favourites) Dick and Dom. I am expecting a full on festival game of BOGEYS! In addition, you can skate along to the coolest of DJs at the roller disco, or if you fancy something a little less energetic, you can attend one of the many arts and crafts workshops, watch a magic or a puppet show.
The festival makes sure all areas are fit for families, with clean, safe camping with an idyllic backdrop.
With so much going on for little ones, tweens, teenagers and grown ups, the appeal of this festival just has to be huge – so make sure you enter our competition to WIN tickets!
I’ll see you at the headphone disco!
