It’s only a couple of weeks until the Gadget Show Live and today we’ve seen a sneak preview of just some of the fabulous new shiny things that will be available for us all to touch, poke and generally coo over.

One of the products that has really caught my eye, and have fallen ever so slightly in love with,  is this awesome, ingenius, and just downright fabulous, Good Night Lamp. It’s beautifully crafted and would look at home (no pun intended) anywhere in the house or office. The Good Night Lamp is a family of interconnected house-shaped lamps that lets you communicate remotely the act of coming back home to your loved ones.

Imagine the scenario… Dad leaves the office and turns off his Good Night Lamp, when that light turns off, another Good Night Lamp turns on at home, so the wife and kids know that Dad is on the way. I’m not quite sure what happens to the light if Dad decides, en-route, to pop in for a pint though? Hmm.

Check out the following trailer and support the company behind the product. Show some love on their Facebook page too, tell them TMK sent you!

Acer’s Iconia B1-A71 tablet is ideal for young or new users or families looking for an additional tablet for their children.  At 7 inches – the same size as a standard book page – the display is perfect for e-reading, web browsing, playing games and watching videos. And at £99, this affordable solution means that parents can now reclaim their own tablets by getting the kids one too – so everyone’s happy!

A sleek, stylish and luxurious design benefits from inspiration acquired from the realm of genuine automobiles and leaves me wondering if there’s a market for 1 seater,  super cool motors like this? It’s got 3 speed driving modes and reverse setting, Leather
Seats, Suspension, Ultrasonic Sensors to avoid accidents, automatic wheel
alignment, a working 3 speaker system – mp3, microSD and aux compatible as well
as an on-board diagnosis system for fast and convenient repair! All powered by
a 12V dual DC motor. Not too shabby at all! After my kids saw this picture the M7 has gone straight to the top of the Christmas list. A shout out to those in the know though, Hot Pink would be preferable 😉

HolograFX  offers  an exciting combination of pre-recorded Hologram projection delivered via a free, downloadable App. I just know that this is going to be MASSIVE!

This cool, fuchsia coloured gadget bakes 12 Cake Pops in 3 minutes, and has the best quality non-stick baking plates! The kids will love to get involved with the decorating, coating them in chocolate, icing and then scoffing. Very cool. Very cool indeed.
