Once upon a time I was a suit. I lived on my own with four (yes, four) cats in Glasgow. Ten years on and I’m a passionate photographer living in glorious chaos on the Isle of Skye with one photographer husband, two adorable (more or less) small children, one delightful teenage stepdaughter and two dogs who have achieved an enviable degree of online notoriety as our photographic assistants.

Escaping the rat race, first to Argyll and then to Skye, led to blogging and writing about a new lifestyle in the country. In time, we focused on our pleasure in photography and before we knew it our passion had become our business. Once established as landscape photographers, the birth of my two little people led to finding a new thrill in portraiture. Working exclusively with natural light, I love to combine portraits and landscapes, and work on location to photograph families and weddings.

I am frequently (far too frequently, according to my children) to be heard exclaiming about the extraordinary beauty of the light on Skye as I trip over one or other of the dogs to grab my camera.
