A really lovely recipe that I made over the weekend and something that the whole family could pick at are these, really easy to make, Brownie Bites. A word of warning though, these are so rich and tasty that you do have to cut them into bite sized pieces. They are the ultimate in diet sabotage…which is probably why I made them.
YOU WILL NEED…
350g Dark (or Milk) Chocolate
250g Butter
4 Eggs
225g Muscovado Sugar
100g Self Raising Flour
1/ Preheat the oven to 190c
2/ Line a square cake pan with baking paper.
3/Melt the chocolate and the butter in a bowl over simmering water.
4/ Whisk the eggs until they are fluffy. Add the sugar a bit at a time.
6/ When the butter and chocolate are fully melted then gently fold this mixture into the eggs and sugar.
7/ Lastly, fold in the flour.
8/ Bake for between 25 and 35 minutes. You should see a paperlike crust on top of the Brownies but the middle should be some springyness from the mixture at the centre of the tin.
Enjoy,
