Hello!
I am the only Truly Madly Mum that isn’t a mum, but I am not the sort of person to let something like that put me off being involved in Truly Madly Kids.
Based in North Hampshire, by day I am a photographer with my own company, Penny Hardie Photography, and I also run the Post Office in my village. Whilst president of the village WI I managed to get it to close down but still maintain a healthy interest in all things countryside and crafty.
My photography business is my favourite job and I do most things from portraits of people and pets, weddings and product photography. I love the creative side this has found in me and try to add something a little different to everything I do. I use both studio and natural light for my work. In the studio I prefer to do more studied and serious portraits and use the outdoors for fun family shoots to say something about my clients and capture an event. I invest in continued training to ensure that what I offer is the best it can be. It is through the world of photography I met the Truly Madly Gang and it continues to be a career choice that open doors for me. Check out our Image of the Week blog posts to see some of my work.
I am a great fan of ‘the outdoors’ which is just as well as I spend plenty of time in it with the two great loves of life, my gorgeous springer spaniel Jess and my mischievous little terrier Digby (who looks like a teddy bear and uses that to his advantage).
