As you all know, we love photography here at TMK. I am not a professional photographer, and whereas my photos do not have the exquisiteness of Melissa’s, the styling of Vix’s, the wanderlust of Nat’s, the professionalism of Penny’s and the beauty of Rosie’s, I do feel that I have a good photographic eye (excuse me blowing my own trumpet!). What has helped me along my photographic journey is my love for certain people and places – somehow photography becomes that bit easier.

For regular readers and followers of our Instagram, you will know I love Norfolk. We holiday here at least twice a year, sometimes more. It is a place that is full of memories for all the family – and even though my urbanite children love the city, the lure of the North Norfolk coast is something that they cannot resist, and the excitement always bubbles over when we set off for our Norfolk holidays.

Brancaster and the surrounding areas have been a favourite photography subject of mine, and I thought I would share with you some of my favourite images:

At our home in London, we love Norfolk so much, we decided to set up a space just for it. Using Snapfish, we created two beautiful slimline canvases of Brancaster Beach (our favourite beach in the area). My daughter loves collecting shells, so she adorned a set of picture frames that I had recently picked up at a car boot sale. I also picked up some cards with vintage poster images of the area, which compliment the printed photos really well. This is the beginnings of the Norfolk wall, and I am quite sure, that year on year it will grow. I love it as it is some of my memories and the children’s.
