Just over a year ago, we moved into the end of a row of tiny Cornish cottages in the town of Fowey, a beautiful old port on the south Cornish coast, full of winding cobbled streets, sandy coves and cosy pubs. There are also daunting hills and no parking to speak of, but we are consequently slimmer and fitter with highly developed calf muscles. This is our little house…and the gorgeous town of Fowey.
Soon the team behind Truly Madly Kids will be meeting here in Fowey, for the very first time. We’re calling it a ‘board meeting’ but I’m pretty sure it will involve beach BBQs and lots of wine as well as the opportunity to turn strong online relationships into even stronger friendships.
So, to celebrate our meeting and all things Cornish, here’s a lovely little make-and-do-project, based on my very own street!
Cut out, colour and fold your little row of cottages, and use a bit of sticky tape or glue to make a 3-D model.

Don’t forget to post your finished houses on our Facebook page. We’d love to see them. Have fun!
