To honour the final last week of the GBBO we would like to share our team’s adventures in baking. From scones to loaves, Victoria sponge to gin and tonic cake, we’ve pretty much tried to bake most things. So we throw down the gauntlet/oven glove and ask you to join in and share your images.

NAT

As one of the sweet tooth kids, I opted for a zesty lemon drizzle cake to kick proceedings off and have been experimenting with different lighting.

ROSIE

Not to be out done, Rosie baked a rather lush Victoria sponge cake to rival any of the finalists of GBBO.

PENNY

A triumph of alcohol meets baking was given a whirl by our intrepid Penny and you can read her full post here. This is one of my favourite bakes we’ve shared.gin and tonic drizzle cake,

VIX

I adore baking and there was only one choice for me in this week’s image challenge, my Rainbow Cake. I still have people talking to me about this and a few orders too, however, I respectfully declined as it took sooooooooo long to make. Check out the recipe HERE.

MEGAN

I can’t bake. I hold my hands up! However, I do try for every birthday to make the kids a cake, and actually stick some candles on and some nice icing and they always go for it! I took this picture, using the full frame technique, I also handily distracted the image from the cake to the candles!

Our favourite link up from last week was Eco-Gites of Lenault and their fabulous autumnal sky shots. Go and have a look here
