We are ramping up for Christmas and busy taking lots of pictures for presents but here are our images of the week for you to enjoy.
MEGAN
Here is my daughter meeting the Mothercare ambassador, Myleene Klass, at the launch of her 11th Baby K season. She was lovely and spent time talking to my daughter after the photo opp. She talked about her new range of clothing and the great Mothercare brand, but also used the platform to remind us not to forget the plight of the Philippines.
MELISSA
This week, I had a family shoot with some lovely friends from the girls’ school. As ever, it’s never the posed images that catch my eye. It’s always the crazy ones of kids just being kids.
ROSIE
All at sea. This image was shot at early o’clock on Saturday morning as I set sail from Gourock to Dunoon to photograph a wedding in a remote area of beautiful Argyll on the west coast of Scotland. One always hopes for beautiful weather for a wedding day and despite the bitter cold the sun was already burning off the early morning mists and the sea and sky were a stunning rich blue. A perfect day. Tech.f13, 1/125. ISO 640 Lee 0.9 ND grad filter.
NAT
Gone a little architectural this week. I’ve been taking the family to new places in Singapore and found ourselves in the Chinese gardens. In the centre is a large 4/5 storey pagoda. This is a classic shot but I just love the lines of this so much.
PENNY
I can’t share the image that I would like to this week as the bride concerned hasn’t seen it yet, so I thought I would share this one of Digby, paddling in the local ford amongst the autumn leaves. With the sun shining the water looks a lovely deep blue and contrasts wonderfully with the orange, brown and yellow leaves. This one taken at ISO100, F5 and shutter speed of 1/80sec.
VIX
I’m in the same boat as Penny this week and can’t show you my image of the week because it’s a big secret squirrel mission. Once the mum in question has seen her images I can then share with you guys. In the meantime please stop and stare at the humongous chocolate fountain I had the pleasure of meeting this week.
