The team have been out and about again with cameras in hand. Here’s what we got up to this week 🙂
PENNY
I have been very busy in the last two weeks with weddings, family shoots and a five day photography course in the Peak District. Here is a shot from a family shoot on Sunday that just goes to show that you don’t need faces to create special moments, and I made the most of all the beautiful cow parsley that is everywhere.
MELISSA
We have just taken delivery of an outdoor pizza oven and the kids love it. Needless to say, it doesn’t just get used for pizzas. The kids have been toasting a LOT of marshmellows.
VIX
The wedding season is well and truly upon us. Someone asked me today if I ever get fed up of photographing weddings. The truth is that they are very hard work, the next day I feel like I’ve been beaten up but I emotionally invest in each and every wedding, in fact there isn’t one were I haven’t cried. This image is from Kim & Matt’s sunshiney May wedding. The perfect day for a perfect couple.
ROSIE
Simplicity is my theme this week. I was making some lemon and garlic mayonnaise yesterday evening and I loved the crisp colour contrast of the lemon on the wooden chopping board. I cannot look at this image without tasting sharp lemon juice. Simple, pared down and arousing the senses.
MEGAN
We had a little burst of summer over the weekend: 3 or 4 days of lovely sunshine. It is funny how it seems to lift the souls of everyone, we all relax a bit and enjoy the world around us. I got a little snap of a couple soaking up the sun on Tooting Common, overlooking the pond.
NAT
One of the hazards of being a photographer is never actually getting around to printing up your images. I’m guilty of this and one thing I’m working on at the moment is designing and then sending off to print my wedding album. This is an image of my wedding shoes. It always makes me smile as no-one would see this as I wore the shoes but I’d know.
