Being someone who believes that looking after yourself in the beauty department makes you feel good about yourself in every department, I am a regular visitor to Baytree Beauty. As the name suggests, Baytree Beauty is a beauty salon providing a spa like experience in a salon setting. Nestled in the heart of the historic town of Wickham in Hampshire, it really is a sanctuary of peace and quiet in a bustling market town.
Kerrie and her team of highly qualified beauty therapists always ensure that you get the most from your visit. From the pleasant décor to the soft music playing in the background and the sweet aromas of the lotions and potions applied, they ensure that your senses are well and truly delighted. From massages to manicures, slimming wraps to facials, Baytree Beauty offers an extensive range of products and services.
On a recent visit, I asked Kerrie a few questions about her business, which (she freely admits) is her ‘baby’. I asked her what her plans are for the salon. She answered,
“I would like the salon to eventually be open 6 days a week with 5 late nights and hopefully have a couple of extra members of staff. I want to ensure that we offer the best service in the most flexible way. I am always looking to introduce new, exciting and different treatments for my existing clients to try and to hopefully encourage lots of new faces through the door”.
I asked her what she thought her ‘secret ingredient’ was to running a highly successful salon, which has expanded even during this difficult financial climate,
“Everyone is welcome; we have something to offer all ages in all walks of life. We are an honest, friendly and knowledgeable salon and offer a quality service. Setting high standards and keeping a happy work force also helps!”

As I look at these photographs, I can almost feel my muscles relax and the everyday stresses and strains just fade away …
