In between sneezing, wheezing and dabbing my streaming eyes I took my camera out on my dog walk today to show you just what is making us hayfever sufferers cough and splutter.
The grass pollen is rife at the moment, and boy, have we got a lot of grass around here. It’s shoulder high and dripping in flowers and pollen. Rather than moan, I have decided to take my daily antihistamine, shove the eye drops in and face my demons! I actually think think the long grass is beautiful and in the morning light with a gentle breeze it rustles delicately and catches the light. There are also so many varieties, even in an ordinary hedgerow, and lots of interesting things going on in there…
So, sit back and enjoy my walk without the snuffles!
