I saw the wonderful Aby from You Baby, Me Mummy, do this on her wonderful blog, and I thought I would take you all back through what TMK have been up to in June!

EAT

It’s been busy in the kitchen of TMK. Vix tempted us into drinking a little this summer with her fantastic summer fizz punch, as did Penny with her delicious gin and tonic drizzle cake – this was also our most popular post this month. I took you to the campfire, and gave you a fantastic salmon recipe to cook on the open fire. And to end the month, Vix shared a recipe on how to use up stale croissants with this delicious pudding recipe.

KIDS

TMK juniors regularly crop up in our posts, and this month was no exception. Vix shared Scarlett’s insights on her, whereas I relived the stress of Caitlin’s grade one piano exam but balanced that with the joy that is her amazing friendship with her BFF. Rosie turned her attention to remembering her Mum, and how although grief can come in many forms, the happy memories that her Little Purple Car bring are just lovely. Right at the end of the month, guest blogger Jo Blackwell returned with more musings from her empty nest – this time her sons received a heartfelt letter full of advice as they become adults.

GO

We don’t sit still long at TMK, and this month Vix took us to France, reviewing her fabulous holiday with Canvas Holidays. How much can you do in one week?! I showed you the hidden gems in the city of London – much better than the West End! I also gave tips on what to pack for a family-friendly festival after visiting Wychwood Festival.

IMAGE OF THE WEEK

As ever, we’ve been giving photography tips in Image of the Week. This month we have covered telling a story through photos, product photography, capturing great beach photos (it is summer, after all) and we shared our favourite Father’s Day images.
